This is one of the park's culverts, installed by "Capability" Brown. At
the time, it had been deliberately left uncovered by the National Trust.
Unfortunately the light and the access restrictions to the culvert meant that
this was about the best angle I could get at the time.
When I returned in 2014, the culvert had been covered again
