The Dancing Ledge is a former quarry found just off the coastal path between Durlston and St Adhelm's Head.  It is probably most famous for the swimming pool blasted into the ledge by the first Headmaster of Durnford House School (the pool is behind and to the right of me in this shot).

Having revisited the location in 2018 (although I didn't take any photographs on that visit), I've concluded that the pupils of Durnford House must have also learnt mountaineering skills as well as swimming at this location, as I could not find any route to the pool that didn't involve rock climbing to a certain extent.  Quite how the pool is accessed (and evidently people manage it) was beyond me at this point (and perhaps this is something that needs addressing).

As of May 2021, this is available to purchase.
