P54370 - Slender-tailed Meerkat, Ark Animal Sanctuary - On Safari

I had initially believed the Cotswold Wildlife Park to be the closest location where I could photograph meerkats.  This belief turned out to be mistaken, as there were some almost on my doorstep, at the Ark Animal Sanctuary at Evesham Country Park.  I made two visits to the sanctuary; this is from the second one, and I would have made more, but it closed in 2012.  

I now believe the closest location I can photograph meerkats is at "All Things Wild" in Honeybourne, but I have yet to make a visit there to confirm this.
