P61212 - Blue Thistle, Fladbury Walkabout 2013 - Nature in Close-up

Taken in Garden 6 during the 2013 Fladbury Walkabout.  

Although I was reasonably happy with the JPG version of this photograph, I felt that I'd used too high an aperture setting and there was a lot of background clutter in focus.  By reducing the depth-of-field (and playing about with lighting and colour), I came up with a photograph that I felt was better than the JPG version.
