P68407 - Pyrotechnics in the Arena, Wartime in the Vale 2015 - Wartime in the Vale 2015

As a rule I prefer to work with a RAW file when making "lighting adjustments" on a photograph.   However, shooting both RAW and JPG versions of a photograph on the Sony A550 severely reduced camera processing time and the amount of photographs that can be shot as multiple exposures, so in order to have more chance of obtaining a good photograph of the pyrotechnics, I shot this activity JPG-only.   The recomposition was within what I consider to be acceptable limits,  and an exposure curve modification has produced an acceptable trade-off between the explosions and the Alvis Scorpions.
