This photograph required me to climb Salter's Hill (to the northeast of Winchcombe), and this was achieved by walking from Toddington car park to this location (about four or five miles).   I have Malcolm Ranieri's book of Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway photographs to thank for the idea for this location (and I was the only photographer using it at the time).
The village of Greet (the actual location of Winchcombe Station) can be seen in the background, as well as the Malvern Hills in the far distance.
