Wartime in the Vale 2018
Photographs from Day 2 (Sunday 17th June) of the event. Due to other commitments that weekend, I was only able to attend to the show between 10am and 1.3opm on the Sunday, although a very last-minute change of plan on the Saturday could have allowed me to attend for longer on that day instead. Despite the reduced hours, this collection is only four photographs less than the 2017 collection where I attended all day. Because of the overcast conditions, I've decided - with one exception - to work off the camera JPG files, rather than do RAW reworks in order to save time (I would say that the Sony A77 JPG files are of much higher quality than the A550 anyway)
The star of this show was undoubtedley the replica MK IV tank built by Guy Martin in 2017, and it is possible that had this not been in attendance, I might not have bothered with the show this year. The event brochure was somewhat of an improvement over the 2017 one, with most exhibits listed, although there were some gaps in the "Green" category listings and one rather amusing typo (I think the word "and" should have been replaced by the word "of").
I am not currently planning to make any of these available for sale, but will consider requests.
