Normally resident on the Evesham Vale Light Railway, this locomotive was one of two from the line visiting for the gala event.
"Monty" is named for Simon De Montfort, who was killed at the Battle of Evesham in 1265. The locomotive was formerly named "Markeaton Lady" and went into service on the EVLR in 2015 (the 750th anniversary of the aforementioned battle).
