P86562 - "The Cove Stones", Northeast Sector, Avebury, Wiltshire - Avebury

These two stones have been known as "The Cove" since the 18th Century, and may well have have a had a third stone to the north (behind the one in the centre of the photograph).  Dating of the these stones has suggested that they may have been the first to be erected at the site.
