"Battle of Evesham" Re-enactment 2018
Photographs taken on the first day of the two-day event commemorating the Battle of Evesham on the 4th August, 1265.
Circumstances (anyone who has read the August 2018 news page will understand what these circumstances were) had prevented me from doing any major photography during July, so this was the first real work that I done in over a month, and I was able to give this my full attention for the day (I had considered returning for the second day, but felt that I have achieved just about everything I had set out for on day 1, and it had been somewhat exhausting). This event was not quite as big as the 2015 one, but it is intended that this will become a regular feature on the Evesham event calendar, and hopefully future events will be able to attract more re-enactment groups.
I haven't made any of these photographs available for purchase at present, but will consider requests. It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that I may authorise the Vale of Evesham Historical Society use of these photographs, and I may be willing to release them to the event organisers if asked.
