C0129 - Battle of Evesham Re-enactment 2021 (1) - Battle of Evesham Re-enactment 2021

Photographs taken on the 1st day (the Saturday) of the event.   This was not as comprehensive a recording as I managed for the 2018 event; I was dipping in and out of events during the day, and only really recorded the morning parade, the infantry training and the battle re-enactment itself.  Perhaps if the weather had been a little better, I would have recorded other activities, but I feel that I did make a fairly good job of those I did recorded, and in some instances, I feel that this is some of best work on a medieval-themed event I've done.   For a lot of the work on the Crown Meadow, I used my 500mm zoom lens and it performed very well indeed, perhaps better than my 250mm zoom would have done.
