Taken during the "Great Western Workhorses" event; the only non-GWR locomotive to work during the gala. However with GWR tank engine no. 4270 having departed the railway in 2023, replacing this locomotive with a GWR one would have meant hiring in another locomotive, which was perhaps not practical.
