This was the last NT property visited during my 2026 East Anglia holiday, and the only Norfolk one I did.   As it was not too far a drive from where I was staying in Thetford, it made some sense to do this last, as I had a three-hour drive home the next day.

This was perhaps not a visit where the property was looking at its finest.  There was scaffolding on one side of the building, and the moat was almost empty; a result of the dry summer (and apparently the structure relies on the moat being full).
