P89948 - Class 37 Diesel no. 37215 - Diesel Locomotives

This was taken during a diesel "Double-up" event, where both of the line's class 37 diesels were rostered for the day's diesel workings.  At this point, the working was switched from "Double-Heading" to "Top-and-Tail", with 37215 heading the train for the return to Cheltenham Racecourse.

I had wanted an image of the locomotive passing the opposite platform, but the combination of the train position and not being able to go any further along the platform meant that I couldn't fit the locomotive completely into the shot (perhaps I might have managed this with my 16mm lens).   I ended up settling for a shot of the locomotive backing onto the train instead.
