I had gone to the shed observation point in order to photograph T3 class no. 563 undergoing trials (See "Steam Locomotives - SR"), and at first I thought the rather large gathering of people in the vicinity was related to this. I then discovered that a class 47 railtour was visiting the Swanage Railway, with 43007 leading the tour into Swanage.
This brings back memories of observing this class of locomotive at Peterborough when I was a child (I may have even taken some photographs of these workings), and I have to say this is my preferred livery for the class.
