P94611 - 7MT 70000 "Britannia", Orton Mere, Nene Valley Railway - BR Steam Locomotives

Some of the first photographs I ever took were of this locomotive on the Nene Valley Railway, around 1980.  45 years later, I finally get to repeat the experience, and the photographs are of somewhat better quality.  The locomotive was a guest for the weekend, and I had travelled up from Evesham in order to photograph it; my first visit to the line in fifteen years.

This was taken in the morning, with the first westbound service of the day (I would catch the return working to travel to Wansford).  I had hoped it would be facing east, as I wanted a "right-hand" shot from the south of the line, but it wasn't to be, and I had change locations slightly in order to change angle on the locomotive.
