My last major session of 2024 was in the same place as the first: The Severn Valley Railway. As I was planning to visit the railway for the 2025 Winter Gala, I didn't want to do two steam visits in such a short period of time, but the railway scheduled a diesel day for the 30th, so I got post-Christmas steam and diesel fixes in the end. The 30th was also one of the few sunny days of December, and I was able to get some fairly decent shots during the middle of day.
The locomotive behind 20048 is GWR 14XX no. 1450, which was coupled inside some of the diesel workings.
