Taken during the 2026 "Cotswold Festival of Steam", a guest for the event, although not steam powered as such.
Although not exactly a diesel multiple unit, the DMU concept can perhaps be traced back to these sorts of designs, and I don't think I've got a better fit for this image in any of the other collections currently on this site.
