Originally named "Markeaton Lady" it was renamed to "Monty" by the railway in honour of Simon de Montfort who died at the Battle of Evesham in 1265; the site of the battle is only a short distance from where the railway is located.
Unfortunately, a combination of obstructions rather limited the angles I could use on this shot.
