Taken on a circular walk along former Severn and Wye Railway trackbeds, starting and finishing at Cannop Ponds.  More photographs from this walk will be seen later in the collection.

At first glance, you might think the Dean Forest Railway have commenced track re-laying north of Speech House Road (which might happen in the future), but this is in fact part of the Beechenhurst Sculpture Trail, and is representative of the history of the railways in the forest, with each sleeper having a carving on it. It is located on the trackbed of the former Severn and Wye Railway, just north of Speech House Road (note that the cycle path is diverted round this section).
