This bridge is named after the nearby hospital (named after Sir Charles Dilke, a local MP in the 1920s).  It takes the Cinderford to Coleford Road over the course of the Severn and Wye Railway's Mineral Loop, and is currently a waypoint on the forest's cyclepath network (a lot of which is built on the course of the Severn and Wye Railway's former trackbeds).

At this point the cyclepath deviates slightly east from the railway's route around the site of Lightmoor Colliery.
