P72009 - GWR 7903 Foremarke Hall, Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway - Lineside - Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway

This was taken on the east side of the railway bridge.  The main issue I had with this photograph in its original format was the complete overexposure of the sky.  However, I had some test shots taken prior to the train passing which did have some sky somewhat better exposed, so I decided to attempt a  transplant.  Having practiced on a couple of other photographs from the session, I set to work on this one, and although I originally shot it in "Landscape", I decided to recompose this photograph to "Portrait" as I felt that it would work reasonably well in this orientation, and would make the sky transplant a little easier to perform.   

This procedure is not something I tend to make a habit of doing as it does tend to get complicated, and can be tricky to execute convincingly.  In this instance, I think I've come up with something that is reasonably convincing.
