I spent the Sunday morning working at Gotherington station, which was somewhat quieter than normal as for various reasons, the owners of the main station building were unable to open to the public this year. The weather was somewhat changeable; some workings were photographed in sunshine, and others were photographed in more overcast conditions.
I chose not to work anywhere other than on stations for this event, mainly due to concerns over how wet the ground would be after a very wet spring (and there had been some significant rain just prior to the event) and whether or not it would rain during the two days I was there; this was true of the next day where there were some showers when I returned here.
