I had chosen initially to work at Winchcombe for this session. I had considered moving to Gotherington later in the day, but was somewhat uncertain about the weather, which was somewhat changeable throughout the day. As there had been considerable rainfall in the days leading up to the event, I decided not to walk to any of my regular lineside locations as I suspect conditions underfoot would be very waterlogged.
