For various reasons I had not used this location in nearly two years, but on this occasion, I felt the conditions warranted a return (I was especially pleased that the vegetation on the embankment was minimal and didn't obstruct the views). I photographed two eastbound workings; these were done at normal exposure settings for trains (the westbound workings became experiments in panning shots: see "Steam Locomotives - BR" for an example).
I would travel on the next day's equivalent working on this service, this time with 3850.
