The event didn't feature any guest locomotives (probably a good call as it would be difficult to compete with the debut of a new-build locomotive on the other side of the county at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway), but did feature two steam locomotives and a DMU set running an extended service on both days of the weekend. This was probably the best photograph I took that day; my decision to try a new location south of Whitecroft hadn't really worked out all that well, and I think perhaps I would have been better off photographing this working at Upper Forge.
It seems to me I'm tending to make a better job of the railway's autumn events than I do the spring ones at the moment. Still at least this time round I kept hold of my ticket and my car didn't give me any trouble.
