Taken just prior to departure for Cheltenham. My mother and I had a round trip on the railway to use up some shareholder vouchers that were about to expire, and we would travel behind this locomotive.
This seems to be another example of me being able to get better lighting on a normal operating day rather than a gala event (see my photographs of 6023 "King Edward II" earlier in the collection for another example of this happening).
My mother and I can heartily recommend Broadway's refreshment room, which provided lunch for us after our journey.
