Taken during the line's "Great Western Workhorses" event, and one of three visiting locomotives, all of which were new builds.
The "Saint" class was the precursor of the "Hall" class, and no original members of the class made it into preservation. This locomotive was reconstructed by the Great Western Society using components from donor locomotives including "Hall" class no. 4942 "Maindy Hall", and became operational in 2019. This was its first visit to the railway.
