This guest locomotive was a replacement for a replacement; it should really be a Bullied Light Pacific in this slot. Originally planned for 34092 "Wells", this was initially changed to 34072 "257 Squadron", but the latter suffered a last-minute failure, and couldn't make it. 7714 ended up as the second Severn Valley Railway guest locomotive, after 75069.
This shot probably could have been better; the locomotive was stationary but the camera was configured for a moving target. It would be the last I took during the event; the weather was very overcast by this point, and feeling that I was unlikely to get any better shots due to this, and the timetable slippages, I left early.
