This is the other plaque, found at the north end of the bridge, and relates more to the battle of Worcester, which was fought a couple of miles to the east, around the area where the River Teme converges with the River Severn.  It is dedicated to the Scottish Royalist troops that gave their lives in the battle, which was won by the Parliamentarians, forcing King Charles II (as he would later become) to flee the country.  As the Battle of Worcester can be claimed to be the last major battle of the English Civil War, it would seem that the first and last engagements of the war happened within a couple of miles of each other.
