These gardens are on the site of Evesham Abbey, and until relatively recently, this was private land, used as allotments (as seen in the previous image). Thanks to the work of the Evesham Abbey Trust, this area is now in public use. This is looking in the opposite direction from the previous.
I had been in the gardens a couple of weeks earlier (see next photographs), but my previous attempts to photograph the arch looking east had suffered some technical issues which required a re-shoot; hence this second visit.
