Photograph Reference: P35020
35mm Photograph
Rescanned and modified in November 2018
This required a visit fairly early on a Sunday, as on any other day the car park would have cars in it.  This is a scene I cannot completely reproduce now, as since I took this, the building has been given a coat of red masonry paint (and, in 2016, a plaque dedicated to Sir Henry Fowler, Chief Mechanical Engineer of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway from 1925 to 1930 was also added).

This is not the photograph used in the previous build.   The HTML5 conversion of the collection had been put off for some months, despite the likelyhood it would be needed in 2018, due to the question of whether or not as a 35mm photograph, this image would be discarded during the rebuild, but I really wanted to keep it in.  The problems were that the archive file was of insufficent resolution for the new build and a digital replacement (as explained above) was not possible.   In the end, I found the prints from the session, but decided to work from another photograph as I felt it was slightly better composed; this was rescanned at a much higher resolution than the original archive copy and then reworked.
