This bridge is a remnant of the Severn & Wye Railway line from Serridge Junction to Lydbrook Junction, and seen from the cycleway that runs past the bridge.  I first visited this location in 1998; at this time it was possible to park close to the bridge, but the area was a lot more overgrown.  When I returned in 2007, a cycle path had been opened along the former trackbed to Lydbrook (just north of this location), and the area around the bridge had been cleared somewhat.   However, the parking area was no longer accessible, and I now had park at the Speculation car park, a mile or so further south, and use the path to walk back to the bridge.

I returned in 2014 (the above photograph replaces the one from 2007) to finally photograph the bridge with my Sony DSLR.
